Well, my Boxy sweater is back on track. After many false starts, I think I've finally got it. I kept twisting my work somehow, so I tried a suggestion on Ravelry and knitted the first four rows flat and then joined. Woohoo! I've knitted three inches this week. Considering how tired I have been after work and my increased running/training schedule, that is pretty good.
I also made some progress on my Noro socks. It had been so long since I had knitted on them I forgot what color they were! We had a four hour webinar on EEO relations at work, so I took the sock. I think I actually pay attention better when my hands are busy. I finished the gusset and knitted several inches on the foot. I have never used Noro sock yarn before. Does it repeat? Also, the center pull gave me another big hairball of yarn. ;(
I do love the colors though.
love the colors in your sock can't wait to see how the sweater progresses
ReplyDeleteYour sock looks great. I love that the leg looks longer than the normal pattern usually is. Around our circle we call those yarn hairballs = yarn barf. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea about knitting flat and then joining to make it in the round. Your socks are great! Yarn hairballs are no fun!!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the yarn issues! Looks like you're going to have some pretty socks though. Glad you're back on track with the sweater; that was an interesting fix!
