OMG I just realized I did not take a pic while I was knitting on the trip. Sweet BF took me to Navarre Beach, FL for a few days. It was wonderful.
I took several projects, but spent the entire time figuring out the Fish Lips Kiss Heel. It is not that difficult, I just didn't read the directions well enough. I had to rip out two heels before I got it right, but now that I understand what I did wrong, I definitely LOVE it and will use it from now on.
I know the photo is not the best, but it really is a beautiful heel. I am knitting these for BF, and I had to start into the second skein already! Yikes! I hope I can get another skein in this color. It is Patons Kroy Sock, so I should be able to find one....
Wish I didn't have to work today, because I am just about ready to start the toe. Excited to finish so I can get on to the next pair.
That's a beautiful yarn, especially for a man's sock :*) I've knit several pairs of socks from Kroy Sock yarn and love them! I haven't yet tried the Fish Lips heel - it's on my to learn list. And your black shrug from your earlier post looks amazing - great job!!!!
ReplyDeleteyour socks look great, ive used the kroy yarn and really liked it.

I've used the kroy yarn, too, and it is nice. I haven't tried the fish lips kiss heel though. Sounds fun! Great sock!
