Yes, I am still knitting on the Honey Cowl. It is supposed to be a Christmas present, to be hand carried to South Dakota. Leaving tomorrow morning! Yikes!! I don't think I'm gonna make it.
I knit a few more rows since this picture was taken, but I'm still clicking along.
Last night I blocked my Shifting Sands Scarf so I could add fringe tonight. Also packing to go out in the morning.
I had a bit of a Christmas Im-not-gonna-get-it-done melt down last night when I saw that my boyfriend had moved several large boxes into my sewing room which he has mistaken for storage.
I go through this last minute knitting/sewing panic every year. Why don't I learn???
Still need to sew the ties on an apron this afternoon. It is going to South Dakota as well. Sigh.
What's on your needles today?
Your yarn is gorgeous! I have learned that what needs to get done will get done. And I don't know why we do this to ourselves each year! Merry Christmas and safe travels!
ReplyDeleteYes, and I do it every year. I did a little better this year--knitted more during the year and pared my list down too.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty cowl and yarn. You can always work on it in the car and after you get to your destination. I know the feeling all too well. Sometimes I change my present to something else and give it the next appropriate time - birthday, or next Christmas. Have a safe trip.
