A change of plans yesterday left me with a free afternoon. Woohoo!!! Sew time!
I took that opportunity to straighten up my working pile of fabrics and sew FIVE Splendid Sampler blocks. I am still about 20 blocks behind, but maybe I can sneak my way into catching up.
I also finished up this darling wool needle holder/sewing kit that I bought a couple of years ago. It has a matching scissors fob--maybe I can knock that out now that I am in the groove!
What's on your design wall?
Your blocks are so bright and cheery. I sure didn't take long for me to get behind. I finally sat down and printed all the blocks I need to catch up on. I have 11. I'll take them with me to the beach when we go to work on them.
ReplyDeleteThat little sewing kit is cute!!
I love your sampler blocks! Your fabric choices make them really pop. Such a cute needle case, too. It's funny how we will have something for a while before being motivated to make it.
ReplyDeleteLove your colors in the splendid sampler.
