Second pair of socks!

I finished my second pair of socks last night.  I don't know why the color pooled on one sock leg and striped the other.  Ideas?  The yarn is Wisdom Marathon sock from Tuesday Morning.  The picture on the label shows a completely striped sock.  Yeah, I know, cheap yarn.....get what you pay for......

And I learned that I cannot watch the presidential debate and graft the sock toe at the same time.  When I was transferring stitches I had them so twisted up I thought the sock was a goner.  The harder I tried the tighter the stitches knotted up.  I took a breath and then everything relaxed and fell into place.  Whew!
