Curved Strip Piecing Class with Nancy Hinds



The finished piece--I had to go home to get the "perfect" yellow in my stash.

 Saturday my quilt guild hosted a class with Nancy Hinds.  The topic was Curved Strip Piecing.  I have taken a class with Nancy before, and really like her as an instructor, but I was not that interested in the topic.  So I went anyway. 

What a great class!  I designed a landscape background piece and really learned some cool techniques that I can easily translate into other applications.  And Nancy is a wonderful instructor.  What a fun day!
