Friday Needles Report

Well I am making more progress on the Little Black Shrug.  I finished the back and put the neck stitches on a piece of waste yarn.  Not sure if I should break the yarn at this point--instructions didn't say.

Next I have to pick up stitches for the bottom band.  I was wondering if I could knit the bottom band after I put the back and fronts together?  This is not the best patten--it is rated "easy", but I feel it assumes you have a substantial knowledge of sweater construction, which I do not .

I really want the FO, so I will keep at it.

Today is the first day of the Knit Girllls Stash Dash Challenge.  I don't think I will knit 5K yards over the summer, but it will be interesting to see how much I will knit.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!  I know I am going to enjoy staying home Monday!

  1. It's frustrating when the patterns aren't clear, no matter what lever knitter or seamstress one is. Your shrug is coming along nicely!

  2. Nice work! You are so brave to work on black! I think that adds to the difficulty of any pattern, too.
