On the Needles Friday

Wow I have been so busy!!!  I haven't done much sewing lately, but I have been knitting.
I was working on the Irish Hiking Scarf.  It is folded up in this picture, but I think I will knit another 12' or so and it will be done.  I think the yarn is Cascade 220.


I got distracted and started working on the All Sorts yarn by Neeleyknits.  I have not knitted with self striping yarn like this before, and it is really fun.  She included a companion skein of gray for the toes, heels, and cuffs.  I want to finish by Tuesday.  I knitted the heel last night.  Hopefully I can work on it this weekend.

    Love your scarf! The color is wonderful. Self striping yarn is fun to work with, especially when there isn't a pattern to the stripes. You never know what color will come next!
