On the Needles Friday

Crazy busy week here but I did manage some knitting.  I finished my All Sorts Socks!  Woo hoo!  I did have an extra row or two when I knit the second heel--I should have changed colors a little sooner, but I am happy with them.  UGH!  Now if I can just figure out how to get my silly picture to post!
I give up!!  This is an older pic, but the socks are finished, I just can't get the final pic to post today for some reason.

I also cast on a new pair of socks using Abi Grasso's watermelon stripe yarn.  I love the beautiful colors and she even sent a watermelon slice stitch marker.
Yes!  The colors really are this vibrant!  I enjoy knitting the "seeds" too.  I am using the Simple Skyp pattern.  I wanted to try a new pattern that would not interfere with the stripes, but would be a little more exciting than plain vanilla socks.

  1. I LOVE your watermelon yarn!! Seeds, too? How awesome. And your watermelon stitch marker is adorable. (Can you tell that I love watermelon?) I was having difficulty posting pictures today, too.

  3. Love your striped socks. I have been resisting ordering the watermelon yarn but I don't know how long I can hold out - great beginning to your socks.
