Woo Hoo!! Monday on the Design Wall

Busy weekend at Crazy Sue's, but I did manage to get this together!  I had made the string pieced units in a class last fall, but mine were a bit larger than the instructor's and she did not give good instructions (or at least they didn't make sense to me) on how to measure the setting pieces.

So I took a swag and put it together and it worked!  It lays nice and flat.  I would like to enter this in a red and white challenge at a quilt seminar next month.....I hope I can get it together fast enough.  I did decide on an applique' design for the white spaces, and maybe a border design.

I'm really just excited to get this far.  ;)
