I Can't Believe I Did That!

What was I thinking?  I was working on my second Noro sock and was not sure about the color repeats.  I knitted about 4" of the leg, and thought I had too much of the brownish color, so I started again and cut the yarn, trying to match the tan at the beginning of the leg.  Now that I have knit more of it, I see I probably was fine to begin with.  :(  The colors don't really match that well any way.  Oh well.  I knit the heel flap last night.  I have a short trip this weekend and hope to get some serious progress made.
You can see the top part of the sock that I cut off.

Still clicking away on Boxy:  I've knit 8" so far.  Eight more inches and I think I am ready for sleeves or something.

  1. I like your socks. It must be tough to get them to match with any multi color yarn.

  2. Looks like you did a good job matching, Sue. Haven't figured out a foolproof way to do it, have you?

  3. Oh I hate that you had to cut off and start over on your sock. I have never cut my yarn to do try and match, but I HAVE had to start over numerous times on the same sock! That is a very pretty yarn. Hope you get them finished soon.
