Off the Needles Friday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's.  I had a bout of the crud earlier this week but think I have kicked it.  Just the horrible sinus pressure and headache - I cannot count the number of friends I have talked to who are battling this.

My boyfriend's sister has been diagnosed with breast cancer and heads to the Mayo Clinic next week for tests.  Please keep Kim in your prayers.  I knitted a quick cap for her--this is the Grey's Anatomy Cap in Jeannie, which is a cotton acrylic blend that is super soft and a great choice for baby blankets.
The pattern is by Knots of Love.  There was great info on their page, including several  caps to knit and crochet, and a list of name brand yarns to use, which was very helpful.

It is a simple cap with a rolled knit brim and 2 x 2 ribbing.

I also knitted more on my Boxy. I'm finished with the front and shoulders, now working on the back and shoulders (I guess).

What are you working on?
