Friday Travelin' Needles Report

I have been so busy with work and travel I have barely had time to knit!  I'm working on a pair of socks for Mom for Christmas.  She doesn't read my blog so I think my secret is safe.  I'm knitting Simple Skyp Socks by Adrienne Ku using some Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock from my stash. 


I was a bit worried that the yarn would not knit up in the same pattern on the second sock, but it looks like it is actually going to work:
