Bridal Shawl Finish!

After 6 weeks of monogamous knitting, the Bridal Shawl is finished! It is the Seashell pattern in Valley yarns silk alpaca.  I really love the way it turned out.

The color is a bit on the cream side for my white dress, but I'll wear it anyways.  When I was about halfway through, I started thinking a pale lavender would have been nice, but I wasn't going to stop.
I think I will get a lot of use out of it.

I think I may sew a small storage bag for it so it doesn't get snagged in my closet. How do you store your shawls? Mine are folded up in a box in my closet, but the box is now overflowing so I need to come up with something better.

And----it is finished 3 weeks before the wedding. Three weeks!!!  Gasp!!!
