Splendid Sampler

Oh I need another project like I need a hole in the head, but I decided to join Pat Sloan's Splendid Sampler project.  The blocks are 6", so there will be many blocks for this sampler quilt.  I really want to try for gray/aqua/yellow color scheme, so I will see how that goes....

First block:

I just needed a pink heart.  Hearts need to be pink!

The second block is an appliqued vase with round flowers on skinny embroidered stems.  I have a set of Karen Kay Buckley Perfect Circle templates---but where are they????  I know I saw them a few weeks ago.  Couldn't put my hands on them this morning.  Will look again when I get home.

So far there are 7 blocks out, so I have some catching up to do!
