On The Needles Friday

Still working on my Crazy Zauerball socks.  It appears they will be fraternal, not identical twins, but I think I will really like them.  I have about an inch and a half left on the foot and I am ready to start the toe.

Almost had a tragic end to the current sock---I had just knitted the heel flap and I set the sock in my chair to go get something.  I came back, picked it up and the NEEDLE CAME OUT!!!!  After a few minutes of deep breathing, I was able to collect my stitches and tink a row or two until I could re-start.  Whew!  Almost lost it.

Check out Judy L's www.patchworktimes.com to see what everyone else is up to.

  1. Oh, my! I can imagine the panic. I'm so glad you were able to get going again. I have not knitted with Crazy Zauerball but have seen some beautiful socks made with it. Love the colors of yours.

  3. That happens to me sometimes too - especially when I grab and pull my knitting out of the bag and accidentally pull the needle - oops! It CAN be fixed - you did the right thing! Those are going to be nice socks to wear! Cheers! Evelyn
