The Indianapolis Motor Speedway! I was so lucky to be able to run the One America 500 Festival Mini Marathon last Saturday. I was in Indy for a convention that just happened to start the day after the race. Great timing! The race started in downtown Indy, went out through the neighborhoods, around the Speedway and back. It was really crowded, over 30,000 finishers. I was finisher 8000, so I was pretty happy. I did have to stop for a photo op on the track. I sacrificed a minute or two of my race time, but it was worth it. My race time was 2:02:20-- not bad for 13.1 miles.
