Great progress on my sock.  I decided that the size one needles were working out better.  I might have another inch or two to knit and I am ready for the toe decreases.  The pattern is the same as a hat I made earlier.  It is a k2 p2, and every third row you knit the second stitch and leave it on the needle, then knit the first stitch and take both off the needle.  The result is a twisted stitch and so far I love the results.  I followed "Wise Hilda's Basic Sock" heel instructions and I think this will be the best fitting sock I have made yet.

I like the twisted stitch pattern. Your sock looks great!
