Well, it is only 8 rows so far, but I cast on Effortless Cardigan in Madelinetosh DK "Bloomsbury". This is my first sweater. I am so excited. My friend Mary explained the increases at knit night Wednesday. I ripped out the first four rows and drew a diagram so I could see where the increase lefts and rights went. They were all over the place the first try. Makes more sense now.
I still have trouble figuring out which way the increases and decreases need to face, and it gets worse when the pattern says something like to reverse the left side shaping for the right side. Ummm no way! Great you have Mary to spell it out for you.
