On the Needles Friday

I got to  a stopping point on my Effortless Cardigan -- not sure if I am starting the sleeve correctly, so I may take it to the LYS next week to get some hand holding.

So in the meantime I started the Age of Brass and Steam Kerchief in Cherry Tree Hill DK from my stash.  This is my first triangle scarf--so excited!!  It is much easier than I thought it would be.  My first yarn overs were kinda crazy, so after the first 10 rows I decided to frog and re-watch the YO videos.  Much better now.

  1. Your scarf looks great! My triangle scarf (Hitchhiker) is my first one also, but it won't be my last.

  2. Very pretty! Hope you get help with your sleeves. It's not nice to be stuck on Sleeve Island.

  5. I made that pattern and it's one of my favorites - the shape of it is great for tossing over your shoulders and not having to tie or pin it - it just hangs in place.
