Friday Needle Report--Back to the Beginning--Again!!

UGH!  I finally realized my Boxy  sweater was twisted again!  Ripriprip!!!  I consulted Ravelry--someone said to knit several rows flat and then join in the round, so that is what I am doing now.  I have one more row of ribbing and then I will join in the round.  Wish me luck.
I ordered more Wollmeise from Germany which arrived this week, so I really need to make this sweater.  It would be a shame to put all that beautiful yarn in the stash.

Last weekend while at the GSQA Seminar, Becky Goldsmith spoke several times about the importance of washing your fabrics.  Do you wash your quilt fabrics?  I have been on the fence.  Sometimes yes, sometimes no.  Becky is an enthusiastic washer and recommended Orvus soap, which I could only find at Tractor Supply north of Gulfport.  Really north of Gulfport.  I drove out there yesterday and got my Orvus.  This is the laundry room scene after two loads:
I had been planning to reorganize my stash any way and  decided if I had to reorganize, I might as well wash the fabrics.  In front of the soap you see two load's worth of string fuzz!  This is going to be quite a project!

  1. Looks like you have some nice fabrics there! Good job getting Wollmeise; it's tough to come by.
