Happy Friday!!

I had a blast last weekend in Florida.  Shared a cabin with five of my best running buddies and ran the Seaside School Half Marathon.  I finished in 1:57:47, which was 20 seconds from my fastest HM time.  Considering the course was hilly and I had a couple of slow downs, on a bridge and a water stop, I was pleased with my time.  
I started my Boxy sweater in Wollmeise Pure Mas Jung color.  Cast on 390 stitches, and I kept messing up.....so I didn't get as far as I would have liked.  But now it is just mindless stockinette for the next 16 inches--very relaxing knitting.

I have to finish a quilt this weekend, so I probably won't be knitting much.  The red and white string star quilt is supposed to hang at a seminar on Wednesday, and I still have the border to piece.  I'd better get busy!!

    Good luck on getting that quilt finished by Wed. Anxious to see more on your knitting project. Glad you had fun in Florida and did so well on your marathon.
